Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. ~Romans 12.21

Spacious Christianity is what we believe and creating spaces of grace to cultivate hope, healing and purpose is what we do. The letter you’re about to read is one story among many from a family who found hope and healing at First Presbyterian.

Dear Pastor Koski,

I really wanted to express to you how much you and the church mean to us and thank you for being part of our healing. From the second we came to you with our broken hearts, we have felt an incredible love that has helped us find our way out of the darkness.

God’s love and guidance has been apparent and at work from the very first second our world came crashing down around us. We have been loved in ways we could have never imagined and for this we are so grateful.

Your sermon yesterday [Easter] not only spoke directly to us. It was exactly what we needed to hear and it, as well as Friday night’s musical performance [Good Friday service] were the most beautiful Easter services we have ever experienced.

Love definitely wins on this one!
Thank you from the bottom of our broken hearts.
We love you and First Presbyterian Bend; we have found our home.
